I took this photo from the roof of the newly completed Anaheim Marriott in 1981. It was a busy day at the park as you can see by the full parking lot. The googie "boomerang" shape of the former Golden Forest Inn can be seen at the left side of the photo. It was a Ramada Inn I believe when my family moved to Anaheim in 1972 and before that was called The Twilight Motel. Today the Anabella Hotel occupies where it, the Magic Lamp and Magic Carpet motels used to be.
