A visitor to the site tells me that this building in Norwalk used to be a Two Guys store.

It has some great features like the diamond shaped sign and towering pylons.

Kim Mi Cocktail Bar in Long Beach, CA has some Googie flavor with it's angled "swiss cheese" shapes in front.
Here is another sign with a similar triangle and punched out holes. This was also often done to steel girders on signs and buildings back in the Googie heyday. It was an easy way to reduce weight without compromising structural integrity much and also added an interesting design element that reminded one of the rocket gantries of the space race era.
