As you exit the 10 freeway at Lincoln and olympic you will find a curious building
for a dental office. This was another Armet & Davis designed coffee shop.
The Penguin, built in 1959.
We drive by, imagining when diners could be seen behind the now cutained windows.
I wish this place was still open, but at least the building still stands and they kept
the original sign and penguin character.
